The FJC offers programmatic excellence grant opportunities and resource materials to foster the development of innovative, creative educational programs in the full spectrum of nonprofit Jewish overnight camps across North America. These grants are the first of their kind dedicated to helping camps improve programming. The grants and materials enable camps to design inventive projects that are diverse and specifically suited to each camp's culture, traditions, and needs. Programmatic Excellence initiatives have proven to be an effective and important vehicle through which the Foundation for Jewish Camp can influence and improve the quality of experiences offered in the field of Jewish camping. Quality programming is the foundation on which great Jewish summer camps are built. The FJC strives to share Jewish programming best practices with the entire Jewish camp community.
