The Foundation for Jewish Camp (FJC) is dedicated to developing Jewish camp professionals at all levels of their career.

Jewish camp professionals are visionary leaders who implement a Jewish camp's mission in order to create the extraordinary, magical experience of a Jewish summer camp. Many liken the experience of being a camp director to that of a Broadway producer or a mayor of a small city.

The job is 24/7 during the summer and remains intense throughout the year. The FJC believes that the influence of camp professionals extends beyond the success of an individual Jewish camp out to the larger Jewish community and the development of the next generation of Jewish leaders; 65% of Jewish communal professionals today attended Jewish camp. The FJC is an essential information and training development resource for Jewish camp professionals, from the director level through summer staff.
